Beautica – a website for cosmetologists with a name: a style that attracts customers

Context and challenge

I was approached by Victoria, a professional cosmetologist with over 10 years of experience. Her goal was clear: to create a stylish, modern website that would stand out from the competition, convey her expertise, and inspire confidence even before the first appointment.

 

The beauty website market in Ukraine is overflowing with similar templates in pastel colors, lacking character. We wanted to completely move away from this — to do something bold, but not at the expense of convenience.

Solution

I developed a bright, recognizable, and well-thought-out interface, where each block has its own idea, character, and visual accent.

Key decisions:

– Bold color combinations — deep red, warm yellow, contrasting photos that are instantly memorable;

– Intuitive UX — even with its non-standard appearance, users can easily make an appointment, find the procedure they need, or read reviews;

– Lively interaction through animations — each block comes to life when scrolling: smooth appearance of elements, slight shifts, hover effects, and microanimations create a sense of dynamism and modernity;

– The website received high praise from the client and her colleagues — the design caused a “wow” effect in the professional community;

– Victoria actively uses the website to promote her services and sign up new clients;

– The visual identity was so well received that it is now also used on social media;

 

Honestly, I consider this website to be the best in the beauty niche in Ukraine — bold, modern, and truly unique.

– Mobile adaptation was not just a necessary step, but a priority: most users access the site from their phones;

– All elements have been simplified, aligned for convenience, and tested on various devices;

– Navigation remains intuitive, and the visual component is vivid and compelling even on small screens.

This project proves that beauty websites can be not only “delicate,” but also stylish, powerful, and full of “character.”

I managed to create an aesthetic that not only sells but also shapes the brand.
